Behavior, Measured in Your Own Currency

Institutions measure everything they value: capital, risk, time. Conduct remained the last unmeasured asset of leadership.

This is how it is measured, what it is worth, and what we refuse to compute.

The Architecture

Four Signals. Four Drivers. Four Enterprise Outcomes.

Leadership conduct is scored on one instrument, identical for every institution and never configured to a client. Each Behavioral Signal calibrates one Behavioral Driver, and each Driver translates into one Enterprise Outcome. There is no hidden weighting and no proprietary arithmetic between the layers: one measurement, two vocabularies.

The Brookville Protocol ROI Blueprint™. Each Signal is the mean of five rated statements on a scale of one to ten, taken at three fixed points in every engagement.

What Is Computed

Three Figures a Board Can Act On

Behavioral Capital Index™

The composite of the four Signals, rescaled zero to one hundred. It requires no figure from the institution at all, and it is the only number that is purely a measurement.

Behavioral Drag™

The annual cost an institution carries while conduct is unmanaged, built from four components it supplies itself: regretted senior departures, counterparty relationships lost, decision latency, and rework. Never a coefficient applied to payroll.

Recovered Behavioral Capital™

The reduction in that annual figure, discounted twice before it is stated: once by what participants and their managers attribute to the program, and again by their stated confidence in that attribution.

The Institutional Cycle

One Hundred and Twenty Days. Exactly Two Reports.

No stream of updates and no interim figure. Certification within forty eight hours of delivery, and the institutional figure at Day 120, once conduct has had ninety days to hold or to fail.

Day 1

Signature and enrollment settled

Day 8

Both waves sealed

Day 15

Baseline locked on the instrument

Days 16–20

The standard delivered

Day 22

Certification Report

Day 110

Confirmed by colleagues

Day 120

Board Report

What the Measurement Refuses to Do

  • Nothing is estimated. Every figure comes either from the instrument or from figures the institution supplies from its own systems.
  • No coefficient is applied to payroll, no assumption to revenue, and no benchmark to any client.
  • No causal claim is made between conduct and a business result. Movement is reported beside a comparison group of the institution’s own leaders, and the reader draws the conclusion.
  • A component whose input is absent is marked and excluded, never inferred.
  • The instrument is never configured for a client. A result measured differently for every institution can be compared with nothing.

Powered by Behavioral Capital Technologies™

The measurement layer that renders leadership behavior observable, quantified, and board-reportable. It administers every assessment, computes every figure, and holds the anonymized sector benchmark record. The Framework is the standard; Behavioral Capital Technologies is what measures it.

Engaging the Measurement

The measurement accompanies an institutional cohort, or is licensed on its own by organizations that wish to institutionalize and measure Behavioral Excellence independently of the certified programs. Every engagement names four of the institution’s own outcome metrics and four data owners before any figure is accepted.
